OUR VISION

Passionately creating in an art medium using sustainable Oregon wood, resin, wine casks, and upcycled eclectic pieces for a one of a kind unique custom design.

We are a husband and wife that have found a creative outlet through designing artistic functional pieces and then bringing those ideas to fruition together as a team.

Kurt, Senior Superintendent, with a 32 year career working for a high end commercial builder in the state of Oregon is a master carpenter, and possesses the knowledge for elaborate processes to create, best quality wood pieces and designs.

Terra, the creative genius for Kurterra, has a 19 year career working with gently used donated goods, and has the keen eye to spot the value of an item that can be repurposed to fit our vision. She has the innate ability to imagine a concept of her own or from a client collaboration session and communicate it through sketches and builds.  

We strive for excellence, using wood from our area, and making every available opportunity to repurpose items to fit not only our vision but our clients as well. 

We are intrigued by the intrinsic beauty of working with sustainable Oregon black walnut and other wood indigenous to our home state of Oregon. This wood is impeccable in creating live edge river tables and solid wood slab tables. Thus creating timeless, natural, custom creations for our clients.  

As wine enthusiasts we have traveled through many areas that produce the exquisite nectar from the vine in the states of Oregon, California, and Washington. In addition, the regions of Piedmont, Tuscany, and Sicily of Italy plus Beaune, France, all resulting in inspiration for our cask designs.  We repurpose retired casks to create tables, light fixtures and more.
